BBO...While I'm sure it's evident that I am a tad bitter...it's not as if I started out bitter. Bitterness is directly related to the size of the pill forced down your throat...in my case..I have trusted the wrong men.

My father is a good man. I know some good men....or apparently good men. I guess what I don't trust anymore is that men are always what they seem.

Beautiful women have it harder than average women(in looks). The nice guys are often afraid to approach...the really bad, narcissistic and self-serving men are the ones that feel confident enough to approach.

Men always try to oversimplify everything which is why they always get it wrong. We should be using the word 'sometimes' much more often and the word 'all' much, much less. Women have extraordinary aesthetic sensibilities. Sometimes they are in the mood to beautify the world. Sometimes their minds are occupied with other things. I think they have the balance exactly right. It's the media that's all out-of-whack.

I've been with some stinkers. I'm basically 0 for 2. Just kidding yidgy... or am I? Though the stink of bad relationships is all over me, I know I was neither an angel nor a devil. The post WWII generations have been sold a bill of goods revolving around perfection and bliss. Neither is sustainable... therefore disappointment follows.

Braz, If we could realize that our primary source of happiness is from within... stop relying on our partner for happiness, we would be miles ahead of this game. The problem is that all too often we want to be made happy. "You don't make me happy anymore"... "Yeah??? F*%K you, make yourself happy" Happiness is a decision. As is contentedness.

Beauty is a power that carries admiration from sight. I dont agree with it but its often true. Life is easier if your beautiful for men and women. Society has taught that scars are manly, a beer belly is still attractive and men dont carry the slim guidelines of beauty that women do. Part 1

Part 2 I rate beauty a 1 for my degree of admiration but with a big BUT because...I rate it a 5 for the easier life perks that comes with it and would want everyone to be treated fairly. As far as what I admire, loving men who arent considered attractive by the norm and for myself, I am generally not drawn to +10 men.

Part 3 I find I dont have the energy to fight the stereotypes that they could lack depth so I generally reject them. I know that sounds unfair but that is how I am. I find people who toot an heart/mind horn due to the chance and luck of DNA, I find them ridiculous. ~Raven

TYPO...As far as what I admire, loving men who arent considered attractive by the norm IS myself...this is what I usually do when it comes to dating...I am drawn to the manly, scars, and a slight belly...that is hot to me...imperfection's!

"Culture" in the United States has been privatized. When we think of television, movies, magazines, and the thousands of little photographs we see every day, what we're really talking about is ADVERTISING. Advertising is OBSESSED with beauty, about the cheapest version of beauty imaginable. It's all about baby-soft skin and a big smile. And it's all created by artists sitting in front of a PC somewhere.
