Description: Attract mode demo for Sega's Shadow Dancer. Plot: When the terrorist group Asian Dawn plant a series of bombs which are mere smokescreens for their plan to hijack a space shuttle. it's up to Hayate Musashi (the son of Joe Musashi from Shinobi) and his faithful dog Yamato to put an end to Asian Dawn's terrorist plot. Interesting Facts: *This version of Shadow Dancer takes place 20 years after the original Shinobi. *The Sega Genesis/Sega Mega Drive version of Shadow Dancer's plot differs from the arcade version since the plot revolves around Joe Musashi avenging the death of his student Kato from a terrorist group known as Union Lizard, while the Sega Master System port is an abridged port of the arcade version (some stages were omitted). in addition, the SMS port contains the bonus stages from both the arcade and the Sega Genesis/Sega Mega Drive versions. |
