Say the pot is 1,000 your 30% pot bet would be 300, giving your opponent 300:1300 odds or better then 4:1 odds to call. This is giving your opponent proper odds to call with a very wide range of hands. A good bet would be between 1/2 and 2/3 of the pot. Using the 2/3 pot bet to mainly mix up your game and keep opponents guessing. __________________________________________________
